Justin Nelson

Justin hails from Bend, OR, where the closeness of the mountains and forest inspires his creativity and appreciation of woodworking. His passion for creating beautiful products from hardwoods is easily seen from a glance around his studio space: experimental products lying on the workbench, neat vertical stacks of wood labeled by species and quality, and of course, a pile of half-finished lamps, shelves, and planters, all waiting for the next step in the process of hand-creation before being shipped out to eager customers. Justin, who is a former Marine Officer and Wildland Firefighter, loves the phase of life he finds himself in, where he works for himself creating his own brand from scratch revolving around his passion of woodworking.

This magazine rack is made from beautiful Maple, Walnut or Padauk Hardwood. This minimalist shelf is perfect way to display magazines and books in your living room or office. The wood is beautifully grained, and finished with natural Tung oil. (No stains used) Since these shelves are handmade from hardwood, actual wood markings will vary.

Available in: Maple, Walnut or Padauk. Two keyhole grooves make this piece incredibly easy to hang. I hung one over my work desk in my shop in just a matter of seconds, with no measurements needed. I recommend using three standard drywall screws...two screws in line with one another for the top groove, and then just one for the bottom groove. The wonderful thing about keyhole grooves is that it"s incredibly easy to adjust for gaps...simply loosen or tighten the screws.Maple wood.
